About Us

Hello! My name is Rastus Snow and I am the owner/operator of Native Lumber& Sawmill. This started out as a hobby until I realized it was something I wanted to do more often than the occasional weekend cutting frenzy! I have always enjoyed the bounty of the Great Outdoors and I strive to get the most as well as the best use out of every log that is set on the mill. It is my objective to utilize "salvage" trees as much as possible instead of letting them go to waste in a big burn pile.I do cut and try to keep standard hardwood lumber on hand, but get the most enjoyment out of the "specialty" pieces.
